In an effort to try and track down why my car is running rich, today I fired it up with the air cleaner off to take a look at the injector spray pattern. Is it normal for the fuel to pool up on the butterfly when at idle ? The spray pattern itself looks great, I'm actually worried that the injector may be pumping out too much fuel (either because it's told to, or because of some problem with it, which I will find out later). Thanks!

Your injector sray sounds normal. It would help to know more about your car. Have you modded it? If so, what mods? How did you decide that its rich?Sense of smell?Scanner? O2 readings? Talk to us.
