VaFPR ?

I bought the GM VaFPR and I'm having a bit of a problem tuning the pressure. I have read other posts about using the factory spring or a different spring in the reg...I used the spring that came with it. I am running 8 psi at idle and 16 psi at no vac. I know 8 psi isn't enough. Any suggestions?

Anybody know where I can get a spring that will run around 10 psi at idle and ~16 no vac?

Thanks

Have you tried breaking off the key in the torx screw and adjusting the FP with that? It will raise it at both idle and no vacuum...

I'll check stock. I should still have springs available. It will take two things to tune it right. 1) The new spring. 2) A vacuum delay valve. The instructions to tune the VaFPR and the p/n for the vac delay valve are in the instructions I send along with the spring. $5 for the spring including s&h. E-mail me at topdownsolutions@yahoo.com if you want one. Lon

Check your e-mail...

I did break out the tab and have been trying to adjust it but I can't seem to find a happy medium. I knew I was going to need a vac delay because it goes lean/rich so quick when I get into or off of the throttle.
