replacement short block
I have found a major engine remanufacturing company that for 50 dollars more than the cost of the short block will grind the cam to my specifications. Seems like a easy way to go. What duration and lift would have me to do with a Eld 3704 intake and TES system exhust with termomaster chip and 305 torquer heads on a 1992 camaro rs 305 tbi.

IT HAS 125 K Tas. I would like to change it to a 350 h.o. deluxe GM motor which has vortec heads. 600 CFM carb is recommened but i would change it to TBi with new vortec manifold with egr from GM. My list of worries are does my TBi and fuel pump have enough capacity to handle 330 hp and would I have to burn a new chip in place of my thermomaster also will my dist. work with this engine.

Chad, your best bet is to do a search on this topic. It has been covered and discussed many times over for many different 350s, though there are only a few that are actually running a tbi on a performance engine. The basics needed are: custom prom, bigger injectors, and a 454 or holley 670 TBI.
