I have a 1988 chevy 350 TBI motor that needs rebuilt I was going to go .030 over and a slightly oversize cam. Does my prom need to be reprogrammed or should it be ok. Thanks

What prom is in there now? Is it a stock prom from a LO3 motor or is it from a LO5?

The motor I am installing is from an 88 chevy truck as well as the computer, it is going in a jeep. All of this is new to me another site said this was the place to go for TBI help. Is there a certain chip I should look for?

As long as the cam isn't significantly larger, it should be alright. A medium range cam although higher in the medium range, is still a medium range cam. You may only have to do some tuning, advance a little to adjust, but not a new chip. If you go with a hot cam, then a new chip is necessary.

With the extra bore, you will end up running significantly hotter than before. So just a heads up to make sure your cooling system is up to task.
