I just finished installing the air cleaner and have a few questions. Does any one else have a problem with the base sitting level? It seems like its tilted cause of the cruise control and the distributor. Also the wing nut that came with it didnt fit on but neither did the one i have. Still like an 1/8 inch gap between where the nut sopped and the top of the air cleaner. But the upside is there is a nice difference in throttle response and hopefully gas mileage. Also with the sensor IAT its called i think i just ran a small metal wire to keep the check engine light from comin on....ive seen on other post that a resitor is needed. Is this bad just runnin a wire instead of a resistor?
