Yup sending it down the 1/4 for the first time at Desoto speedway....testing and tuning it saturday morning.
Mods are as follow:
14x3 aircleaner
10* base timing
160* thermo
No muffler
Other stuff i've done is a total tune up,alignment, rotation and new wheel bearings...I'll ba taking out my back seats and lightening my car as much as possible.
I'm counting on 16's...Ugh this is going to be embarrasing...
what do you guys think I'll run with a good launch considering I have a T-5?
Is it true that at the track you get awesome traction because its sticky?

you are fair,ly close to sea level, so i think you can be into teh 15's with it. if you can get it to hook enough to get a low 2.2 or high 2.1 60ft you may be able to get down to the mid 15's.

I know a little about this topic, since I work at a dragstrip and my car is a stick. You will need sticky tires to launch it hard. If you have a set of ET streets or drag radials, you can launch the car no less then 3000. if you are on street tires, you will want to slip the clutch and come off the line easy. i don't see 60' times in the low 2's with your set up. probably in the 2.40-2.60 area if you launch this way.
