Need more help.....please!

My cat converter is getting red hot. I had it replaced, but it is still getting just as hot. What else could cause the converter to heat like this?

Engine: SFI'd 350

Transmission: TKO 500

Axle/Gears: 9-bolt w/ 3.23's

Check all the sensors/fuel pressure and ignition. A neglected engine that hasnt seen a tuneup in a while will kill the cat, too. Alot of hc's and/or unburned fuel is being burned by the cat causing it to overheat.
