Edelbrock performer TBI (3704)
Is it direct replacement for 91 Chevy Camaro TBI?
Is it worth buying. I'm planning to get one but need more feed back about this product.
If you have other suggestion pls. let me know....
Thanks.

I have it and it wasn't to hard to install. Just a little hard on the back..hehe. Anyways the only thing that you will have to modify is the fuel lines. Just grab a big plumbers wrench and slightly bend them WITHOUT kinking them. You will see what I mean when you try to put the TBI back on. If the fuel lines prohibit you from bolting the TBi down you will have to bend them. I tried to use the force of bolting the TBI down to bend the lines and ended up stripping the threads right out of one of the bolt holes on the manifold. A $50 heli coil kit later solved that, but other than that I did it in an afternoon and I am by no means a grade A mechanic.

Heres a little better pic of it. Oh and by the way I really didn't feel a difference in power. A little more pull at high end. I would do headers first than the manifold. No point in getting air into the motor if you can't get it out. I am sure I am getting more power out of the manifold since I have done headers.

I'm using the Edelbrock intake too.
Had to chamfer the bores a little to clear ported throttle body.
Also, if you have a/c, you'll need to drill and tap the boss at the front of the intake for the A/C Compressor Support Bar (if you want to retain it).
It's a good intake if your motor is stock or mildly modified.
If you're making much more than 300HP at the flywheel, you'll be better off with a four-barrel intake and adapter plate, though that may not pass an emissions inspection.
(I'm making a little over 300HP (flywheel) and the car passes smog in CA with this intake)
