Passing Inspection?
What are the chances of passing inspection after doing a Smog pump and A.I.R. Tubes Delete?
I also would be running SLP 1 5/8 headers, 3 inch Y-pipe, 3 inch CarSound Cat, 3 inch I-pipe, and flowmaster 80 series with twin 2.5 pipes.
Possible to pass the NJ sniffer test? Or would I be paying the local gas station for the rest of my life?

i hate to tell ya this but ya prob have no chance.. you best bet is to all the exhaust stuff that has the emmisions legal symbol on it. thats all ive done so far. IL is really tuff and im sure NJ is no different
those tubes have nothing to do with emissions. the air pump only runs for the first few mins that the car is started to help heat the cat to operating temp and then it shuts down.
the only thin g they could possibly say is that the belt routing does not match your under hood sticker, but the odds of a dmv employee figuring that one out are just about nothing.
don't worry about the sniffer, if your car is in a good state of tune and you have a working egr it is really easy to pass. if you have an egr delete you can tune you way around it.

i've done a lot of research on the topic of the smog pump delete, and it certain cases it actually runs cleaner on the dyno but still wont pass the visual emission inspection, when you bring your car in for emission the tech will look over the car and see thats its missing and fail you, find a friend to pass it for you.

Now I go a step further ...
I am looking at a set of SLP Headers. P/n 30004. They do not have the provisions for the EGR Valve. IS this okay, does my car have an EGR valve on the exhaust manifold? Without it will I pass inspection in NJ?
