Which manifold is better the Edlebrock performer tbi or the holley projection tbi manifold? Which produces the most power and which is easier to install? I know the Holley has 2'' bores for their throttle body and the Edlebrock works with the stock tbi. Other than that what is yall's opinion?

If your going to the trouble get a carb manifold with an adapter. Much more airflow. In the end you'll be happier

The Edelbrock is a basically straight bolt-up TBI manifold so all your stock stuff will bolt right into place. The Holley one is a carb manifold that just has the TBI holes drilled into it. Your heating lines will require a little fabing (minus well delete your heater valve) and your coil will only bolt up to one stud, but its still a good manifold. Like Arron said though, Im running a Edelbrock carb mainfold with a Holley TBI adaptor.

The holley manifold I was refering to was a 2 bore tbi manifold made for the 670 cfm throttle body. It was never a carb manifold. Is anyone using this one?

Dude, Im telling ya that its basically a carb manifold drilled to accept tbi. I know its not a direct carb manifold, but under the 2" bores it should be the same. The coolant lines are the same as the carb manifolds, the planes look the same, etc etc.

We put that along (Pro-Jection) with a 670 cfm tbi on my buddies stock LO3 (aside from exhaust, hypertech chip, and open element) and it gave him a .1 after tuning. Dropped from 15.6xx to 15.5xx. IMO Theres no need for a larger manifold unless you have a cam and/or heads or you're going to be doing them soon.

NJ SPEEDER said you can drill out the Edelbrock manifold to 2" if you want, too.

Heres a picture of it, not good but you can see it on there...

We did just do LT1 cam and very ported 187 heads on it though, he said it ran a hell of a lot harder Left for school before we could get track times though!
