Altitude change : WinALDL data help pls

Well, I moved from Wisconsin (~300 ft) to AZ (~1500 ft) at ASU and my car definately does not run like it used to. It's slower and it has a major difference in sound. I switched my chip from a Jet Stage II chip to the stock one (assuming that it was running rich due to less air, but I never logged this). It runs better now, but not as well as I'd like. I run 91 Octane mobil gas currently, and this data was taken while driving around phoenix on various onramps and from stoplights. Some are full throttle, some are part, I really don't know which is which without looking at TPS which seems a bit shoddy. As you can see there are a small number of knocks, but I don't know how to read this (knocks per second, knocks per interval, or just knock count overall). My timing is not advanced (that I know of) at all except for what the stock chip does for it, but I haven't checked it to see whether or not the previous owner messed with it. Now, there might be a dent in the bottom of my cat, but I have to check again (which might explain the change in tone of the exhaust, but pretend I didn't tell you this). Can anyone find anything wrong with my car from these (other than the fact that some say I was going 120 when I never got over 80).

P.S. what the hell is for when the speed sensor is on crazy pills

Thanks a lot

Tyr running at 4300 ft like me, when I go down to 2300 I feel way more power.

Everything looks normal to me except for the speed.
The reason you don't have any power is because the air is so thin you aren't able to get much air into the motor. You should notice a big difference in performance, just look at the guys that drag race where you're at and then look at the same cars running at sea level tracks.

Thanks a lot man

I'm worried about the knock counts. I have the stock chip in, with no added base timing. Would it be ok to advance it a little you think.

I plan on advancing it 2 degrees at a time and seeing what happens, but when should I stop?

Thanks a lot

When you start to detonate you'll notice a HUGE power loss and the knock counts will go up for about 3 to 4 seconds from say 12 counts to 18, to 25, to 34, etc, for at least 3 or more "data screens". You don't have knock so keep going until you do get knock OR major power loss. When you reach your max, get some way to measure performance (track or g-tech or tazzo) and take out a degree of timing until no power loss is noticed. You don't want to run the MOST timing. Just enough to make no difference in performance is the best place.
