Need the TBI unit: Should include injectors, fpr, and a couple sensors.
Need an intake.
May need a distrib that the ECU can talk to.
Need ECU (under dash, pass side) and Wiring Harness (can we say Painless?)
Need sensors: TPS and IAC (on TB), CTS (on intake), IAT (on air cleaner), MAP (on firewall), O2 (drivers side exh manifold, near #5 cyl spark plug), VSS (behind inst. cluster, we hope. if not, refer to VSS conversion (take the whole cluster, more wiring, and the vss off the donor's tranny speedo output)).
Make sure your fuel system is supplying 9-13 PSI. Use an electronic pump. You can go in-tank if you want, but.. eww.

Expect a 10-20 work hours, 15-25 if you're a perfectionist and clean everything you see. Anything less than 10 hours, you either shouldn't be asking simple questions or you missed something... or you're really lucky or I'm too tired to do time estimates

He can reuse the intake manifold on there, or get an aftermarket carb intake and use an adapter plate. The edelbrock and holley TBI manifolds are for '87-up cast iron heads, so finding one without having to machine it would be hard. Many people choose to go with a carb intake anyways. Just keep in mind you will need to disable egr in the computer chip if you're running an intake without it.
