Modify Lo3 intake, or get performer?
I'm debating between using the stock LO3 intake, and poerting it out and stuff to get better flow from it, or else get on of the Performer intakes and make an adaptor plate for it. Someone said that that is a large space in there and the fuel will puddle in the intake. I thought it could be a possibility, but I am still debating on what to do. I am still leaning more towards the Performer, but I could always use the stock intake until I have the motor going, then convert over to the Performer once I get the thing going. I'm putting the TBI on a 327, so I will have to go through and edit all the fuel I think
I am doubting that the stock fuel settings with the pressure bumped up will handle a new cam, and heads as well as more cubes to fill.
Will changing an intake also mean I am going to have to change the fuel again as well?

Don't bother with the L03 intake. Not worth the effort. Use a good carb intake with adapter. You will need to use 350 injectors and may even need to increase fuel pressure on them and invest in at least the WINALDL scantool setup to help tune that beast and you may even want to get some prom burning equipment and burn your own prom as well.

OK, well, I have decided on a plan. I'm going to use the stock intake until I get the thing running decently. I am then going to convert over to probably a Performer RPM since this is a 327 and will be running at higher RPMs. I have the scanning/burning stuff availible to me. I am going to be making my own adaptor plate for the TBI though. I was just wondering if I would be able to get away with the stock intake, or if I should get a new one. But, I am going to go with a new one. Just not sure when yet.
Thanks for the help.

Some more fun for you. If your using pre 87 heads, you will have problems with the center bolt holes on the stock intake. You can modify pre 87 intakes to work on newer heads but there are clearance problems going the other way.
