I know that they dont, but i'm not sure about the cost of plumbing from the header.

I dont want the EGR so bad. as you put it. I was curious if the vortecs had them or not. I am considering taking all the emissions stuff off, air pump and pipes, catalytic converter and the EGR. I might as well leave the evaporation canister, it doesn't really do any harm. Right now im just brainstorming ideas for building my engine. I cant afford a whole lot so its probably gonna end up being a fairly mild 355.

Vortec TBI

I used the GM performance parts Vortec TBI manifold to top off vortec heads. The manifold has a provision for EGR and I piped it from my SLP headers. Cost a few bucks, but I've got the EPA to deal with.
Motor change is in process (when I'm not sitting in front of this damn computer).

Also there are carb spacers that allow the reintroduction of exhaust gases into the intake manifold; althought I wouldn't recommend doing it this way.

From the Summitracing.com catalog:

EGR Adapter Kit, EDL-2899: $21.99

From Scoggin-Dickey (sdpc2000.com):

EGR Supply Tube, 10220275: $54.95
TBI Vortec Intake, 12496821: $309.50

I'm putting together the order sheet for my Vortec head swap and just happened to have this information handy. I hope it's helpful.
