tbi questions
injectors aside, what's the difference between the tbi units on a 305, a 350 and a 454?
do the ultimate tbi mods talked about so much on here affect cold starting and driveability?
holley's website lists oem replacement tbi units, but only for truck applications, not f-bodies. a) are these significantly better than stock, and b) will they fit my firebird if they do?
does anyone have any experience with the turbo city high-flow tbi? http://www.rock-it.com/TBIPowerMain.htm
my plan is to mess with the 305 for awhile and see what i can get out of it with tuning and bolt-ons, but i'll eventually go to a 383 or 400. will a tbi be able to handle the airflow needs of 375-400 horsepower?

The difference between the TB's is the 305 and 350 are the same both with 1 11/16" bores whereas the 454 has 2" bores. The holley unit has 2" bores and bigger injectors not sure what the size is though. The turbo city throttle body is just basically a gm one with the ultimate tbi mods done to it I believe, and honestly I think that nobody can give a real limit to what kind of power TBI can support because high horsepower tbi's are just theoretical at this point.

teh turbo city tb's are basically jsut ultimate modded tb's. go read teh tech articles and you will see how to get improved air flow on your own for less than a tenth of the price.
teh holley tbs' will fit onto any tbi vehicle. you will find that most application sheets for tbi only list trucks since that is where most fo teh tbi motors went. but it si the same injection as a f-body or full size car.
