Fuel Regulator, Pump, & Injectors

I am in the process of completing the 'Ultimate TBI' mods. I have read the technical article on how to make the factory fuel pressure regulator adjustable. I was wondering if buying one from Turbo-City would be better or less likely to leak or fail. While I was at the Turbo-City website, I took notice of them offering 'Flow Matched Injectors' at $69.95 each and a 'High Volume TBI Fuel Pump' at $139.95. Has anyone made these upgrades and what are your opinions of them? Are they worth the money?

Make the regulator yourself and put that money towards more mods. The modification is nowhere near the fuel end of the regulator so its not any more likely to leak than the turbocity one. If your going to change injectors buy new GM 65lb/hr injectors for more hp potential or stick with your stock ones. Flow matched will not give you $140 worth of HP. Stock fuel pump is good for around 250hp. If you plan on making more hp then get the $93 Walbro 255lph GM universal pump from http://www.autoperformanceengineering.com/ Spend the money you saved on headers/exhaust or gear/posi upgrades.

Take note that the adjustable fuel pressure regulator mod is not possible on ALL stock regulators. Mine for example has the threaded shaft tack welded to the side of the cup. I will need to find a non-welded cup in order to perform this mod. FWIW.

Just drill out it out. They can all be made adjustable. I have yet to find one that can't be modified.
