engine question..

what in the world is that black plastic box that is in between the ac canister open element cleaner, it has a hose coming out of it, i hate it, as well as the space cadet looking thing under the air cleaner that loosk like a mushroom

its part of the air pump, just remove it.

the box doesnt

you do know your chrome breather can stick straight into the valve cover, you dont have to leave that pipe sticking up......unless you want to

It's an air diverter valve. It's part of your emissions control system.
