New to the Forum. Questions???

Hello,

I purchased a 91 firebird 305tbi last year and I love it. I am new to the forum and have a few questions.
1. I purchased an lt1 cam and need to know what else I need for the swap. I don't have much money. Will the stock lifters and springs do (110,000 miles on engine). Or do I have invest in some?
2. I have a good friend that is an experienced mechanic and he charges 35hr for labor, how much to install the lt1 cam.
3. I purchased a superchip form Performance Resources. Is that a quality chip?

Thanks

Mods: 3:42 gears, new dynomax catback, k&n filter and X-lid, superchip.

i would change the valve springs, seals, and timing chain while you are in there. you are gonna have to call your buddy to see how many hours he charges for the swap. and finially i would return that chip, use the stock one with tuning (FP and timing) or go custom.
