car wont start

car wont start

I hear clicking, i hear the starter make a click sound and vat relay make a sound too, why wont the car start dangit???? is it the vats??? the battery is fully charged too.

I believe that if your VATS was bad then you wouldn't even hear the clicking of the starter.

My VATS experience the engine will crank like mad but never start. Usually a click only with the a good battery indicates a bad starter or a bad main wire from the battery to the starter or the ground from the block to the chassis. The wire problem occurs a lot with the older cars with vibration of the engine and corrosion from the battery terminals breaking down the wires.

well the vats is not the problem, so what else may it be, bad starter?? wires to starter?

definately a not enough power to the starter problem. Try jumping the car... any luck? It clicks like that when it does not have enough power. That sound is the starter gear engaging then disengaging with the flywheel/flexplate because there is not enough current to it.
