I thought I was very careful to install them one wire at a time...

Anyway the car ran rough to begin with, and I thought replacingthe old wires was a good bet considering they were all burned and stuff. Now it runs worse.

Could it just be my ECM needs to be reset?

Btw they are accell 8mm's, the already built kind.

 

Did you inspect the plugs?? If you did, were any fouled or signs or running incredibly lean? Are the wires completely snapped onto the distributor? How old is the rest of the ignition ie. rotor, cap but not as far as the coil?

Is your distributor bolted down so that wiggling it putting the wires on didnt move it any? Theres just a few possibilities
