today i started my car after a week or so of sitting...i took off my open air element and was check on why my engine was over reving.....and all of a sudden i saw flames come out of the intake and up toward my hood...i thought it was funny and cool to see it come out but then i relized that this cannot be good....anyone with info on why my car is over reving and why this back fire came out please help me with that and how to fix the over reving...sometimes the engine light comes on and the rpms go down...but i dont know y that happens either.....i dont know what code it is but i will have to find that out.....


the mods that i have done on my car are a 350 engine, accel 8.8mm wires, cap and roter, hypertech super coil, dynomax cat back system, no cat........soon mods, 14" k&n air filter, xstream air filter, holley tbi unit, intake manifold, knock sensor, and ecr sensor, and performance chip.........thanks for your help if you can help....
