TBI rebuild. make a diffrence?
Im getting ready to rebuild my TBI. I went today and got the complete kit frm Autozone. it has every thing, it's not the half kit that Ive seen in other tbi rebuild post's.
Im going to rebuild it and do a couple of the ultimate TBI mod's wile Ive already got it off the engine .
You all think I'll notice any diffrence once its done?

Watch out for the first fuel line when reinstalling the TBI. It is a PITA. Trust me I just did it tonight. It goes in at a different angle than the TBI sits...
If your doing a rebuild go with the following:
AFPR
Matched injectors (I got turbocity.com's, they're awesome)
Injector spacer - once again turbo city
TBI spacer if you have the room.
Though you would need a 14x2 (if you can find one) instead of a 14x3 open element on a camaro.
Bore that puppy to 2"
Get a carb Intake and put a 2" adapter plate in or edelbrock TBI intake, I believe it is the only one that you can bore out to 2". Please anyone correct me if I am wrong.
With that combo should have noticeable gains.

Didn't know that, but why use the stock manifold when you could get more power from a carb or TBI specific aftermarket intake whn you bore those out to 2"? Especially when you consider you are saving a little weight by going with an aluminum intake.
However it is great if you are looking to save a little money. Intakes can get expensive.
