cutoff during driving
I don't know what to make of this. A Few weeks ago I lowered the FP to a setting I'm not to sure of. The gauge read 15 the first time I put it on and has read 15 ever since. In fact I lowered the adjuster all the way and it still reads 15. So the problem I'm having is a slight popping noise followed by a HUGE stumble during light throttle, full throttle or any other kind of throttle. There is no peticular time that it occurs, it just starts when I began to here the popping sound.
I'm running 6 degrees of timing and she really has liked that and no cats or other emissions stuff. The EGR would cause it to hesitate whenever I had the connector on.
So could I be running lean or could the fuel just blatantly cut off like that? I'm down to 1 vehicle this week and I do not need to be stranded sopmewhere.

Well the gauge is definately bad. No doubt about. I only paid $4 for it at Grainger. The other thing I forgot to mention was the backfire during this hesitation or stumble. After I posted yyesterday I turned the fuel pressure up a few turns and there was no change whatsoever. As soon as it stops raining here I'm going to check the cap and rotor.
Any other suggestions while I'm there?
