i need a set of injectors that will work with a 92 305 rs....tbi obviously. would be GREAT to get the 65 lb cop injectors.....any mods i have to do for the 65 lb injectors?

 

I just installed 65 psi cop car injectors in mine and they dump WAY too much fuel for my 355, but to make up for the fuel I am installing another intake that I board the holes to 2" for a 454 TB maybe this will help with the air flow, I hope, I have the injector part #'s if you need them. As far as the stock TBI the best thing I did to mine was the TBI mod in the tech section and the AFPR, but I really think that the 65 psi injectors will be too much for your engine. You might try a set of 55 psi injectors, I wish I would have gotten them, but I have been told that the cop car injectors are very hard to find.

 

Assuming you're using the stock injectors, you will need your chip adjusted if you go w/ the 65pph injectors. I wouldn't imagine it would take that much work, just some adjustment to the fuel tables and maybe some extra timing at higher rpms.

 

All you have to do is change the BPW constant. I had it set at 110 for my 55pph injectors at 12psi.

 

i have a ustom chip i had a i guy burn for me, doubt its set up for 65 lbs injectors, ..so thats all i need to do, get the chip moded a lil bit?? nothing more??
