Backfiring under throttle
Well I'm back with the backfire problem. It never happens during deaccellaration, it only happens under load and normal driving.
Here is what I've done so far.
1, Disconnected the Egr= still backfired
2. Connected Egr and she still bacfired and when releasing the throttle she would begin to miss like a vacumm leak, then smooth out at idle.
Now when I'm diconnecting the EGR, all I'm doing is removing the Connector from the Solenoid. Honestly I'm a bit skeptical If I even have the lines run correctly. So if any body could tell me which ports to use on the solenoid it would be greatly appreciated.
Last but not least, engine codes. I will randomly get a code 42 and 34. Just not all the time. And it clears itself after I shut it down.
Well guys and Gals who has had this one before?

Timing
Your timing is too retarded and you are running rich. You also might want to check your throttle position sensor, but I am sure that problem will go away if your timing is set right.

I have had the feeling I was running too rich. The timing though has been gradually decreased to see where she would backfire the least. I have it at 2 degrees now and she prefered 8 in the past, before the backfire.
What do you think about the EGR setup I have going? That has to be a problem. I shouldn't get that miss effect.
The worst part is that I cannot use WINALDL. I have made two different cables and still get the rapidly flashing Code light. No data whatsoever.
Thanks for the info. I will get on her tommorrow or Thurs.
