sorry have some more questions

i know i post alot lately but i want my car to be perfect. i am working on the project trans am now and it's almost done.. but it's got a stock 305 tbi. i want it to run mid 14's. i have stock 2.73 gearing but i do in fact have 3.23 gears. motor wise i want a cam, and i am getting a chip from tbichips.com. i have hooker cat back exhaust. i am thinking of getting an LT1 cam.. how well does this cam actually do? what are some even better cams i could go with? what would i be running with the gearing, a cam, and a cat back, and the chip? just an aproximate. thanks guys.

i am running 15.294 with the mods in my sig. I have yet to run with the 1/2" TBI spacer and im going to run at the track next time with no aircleaner, remove the endlinks, and do some fuel pressure tuning before hand using Win ALDL. Im hoping that i can pull into the 15.0-15.1 range before i get 1.6 rockers, pro built tranny and a 2400 stall torque converter which should put me into the 14.8s at least.

An LT1 cam would definately help, do that along with some 3.73 gears and posi, and headers and you should be in the high 14s with some good tuning.
