I just put one one my truck when I ported my TBI. I had two gaskets under it before. Two gaskets are just about the same height. So if you have an extra gasket save your money. This made more of a difference on the 350 in my truck than on my 305 camaro.

they make a decent difference for any TBI car, especially if you wanna do other performance mods.... HOWEVER, go on e-bay.... you can find one for $30... instead of the $70 from jegs...

You are talking about two different spacers. The one linked to is an injector pod spacer and it does make a difference. The other is a TBI spacer and there apears to be some debate about it's utility.
