I just installed a carb intake and decided to try the less expensive Holly #1741 TBI Adapter - it worked great for half the price! - intake is Weiand Action Plus Intake #8000. As always - mods had to be made to throttle cable bracket - I actually yanked a carb throttle cable bracket and used it with some bending & drilling - also relocated coil to firewall (too much stuff crammed on back of intake for me).

UPDATE!
Update - anyone using this adapter will have to either get 1) shorter TBI bolts, 2) put washers under TBI bolts, 3) get a thick gasket (quarter inch) between the adapter and intake, such as the gasket for a 1987 carb car. The TBI bolts will go through the adapter and push on the intake, thus creating a major vacuum leak.

"How do you like the intake though so far?"

I haven't run the engine but only one time thus far - and I found the above stated vacuum leak - I'm still trying to get everything back in it's place. One thing has been modifying the throttle bracket - I went with a throttle bracket from a 1986 carb car and modified it. I also relocated the coil to the firewall - there's too much stuff where the coil normally sits. I did alot of mods at one time - wouldn't know what was intake results vs. other mods. Otherwise, like any other carb intake I guess - PITA to modify everything to work lol.
