OK, i was in the process of installing this on my car when i realized the bolt is to short for the wingnut. Its a flat bottom type, so there is quite a bit of room. How exactly am i suppose to bolt on the filter? Is there some sort of extension bolt i can get or what?

get a air cleaner bolt from pepboys for like 3 bucks, bend it so it looks like the stock one, and put your filter on. Then cut the new one down to size.

you could just thread it out more unscrew it from the tbi unit intil it fits or i if its to short just get an extension they should have them at ace or something.
