Pics of Truck Engine apart. SEE INSIDE

this is what mobile 1 does to your engine after 135,000 miles. it keeps it sparkling clean

This is why im taking it apart. can you see the problem. hmmm one of those pushrods was traveling a lot farther than the rest. dead lifter... however, the lifters showed NO wear on the bottoms of them and the cam looked great too. use mobile 1

this was fun. only took a couple DAYS. i hate not having ALL the right tools. an air ratchet would be nice too

so, enjoy the thoughts of what YOUR engine looks like right now.

If you want to see the truck see my site.

hopefully mine will look that good when i rip it apart here soon. i've been running mobile in mine since i got it (i bought it at 80k miles, it has 170kmiles now). that really is one of the pluses of synthetics, is how they don't gum up like dyno juice.

Mobil 1

I wish I had pictures I when I pulled my 305 with 199,848 and it still had the cross hatching in the bores. run with Mobil 1 since it had 8k on it and it was spotless i have never seen a motor that clean no build up any where it was amazing.

I am a believer

I have 250,000 on my truck with Mobil 1, and looking through the oil fill it even looks cleaner!

When I get to 300,000 maybe I will take the covers off and look inside. It still idles at 30 PSI with 5W30. I change every 10,000, about when it burns a quart!!

I gotta agree with everyone, when I took mine apart at 120k it was dead clean. I do think that changing it ever 3k no matter what oil you use will prevent most of the grime, but mine didnt even look like it needed to be torn down. The main/rod bearings looked like they had 8 miles on them. Ill run mobile 1 in everything I own
