awaiting my lt1 cam..

hey for you guys that put in an lt1 cam in the LO3.. i have a question

i have a brand new set of lifters and i plan on changing the lifters and the cam, do i have to change the rockers or anything? if i don't HAVE to then i'm not going to. if i can jus tput the cam and lifters in without anything else would be great cause i'm kinda low on money right now because of school. thanks guys

You might want to change your valve springs, u can get some Z28 springs for like $35 bucks (suppose to handle up to .525), but if you have low miles you might get away with running the stock ones, but it is cheap insurance. You might also want to think about changing the timing chain since youll have it off, a new GM single roller chain is about $50, both can be bought from www.sdpc2000.com . good luck.
