My car died last night at 3 in the morning (talk about good timing) it sputters and stalls and is real hard to keep runing but will run if over 3500 rpm if I go below that it sputters and stalls and is verry hard to get running. It backfires out both ends. all my gauges are indicating fine. I played with it for a while this morning and had no luck. I wenk to check the timing and found that with the advance wire disconected it runs ok, like a car with no advance, but it will run and idle. reconnect the wire and it will barly start, the timing is set at 4 deg. the car has run great for 10k miles on the new enginge.

Anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated

thanks Ryan
