ghetto air cleaner!!
tell me if this is good or bad guys.. well, I guess you can call me ghetto. I've heard so much about open elements and cold air induction that i wanted to change my stock air cleaner assembly into something more like an open element. I dont quite know if it's any good or not but you guys can help be the judge of that. I was bored and so i tinkered with the air cleaner and I took a hacksaw to the base of it and tried to cut off the snorkel. Halfway through cutting it, the rivets just popped out where the snorkel meets the base. and so i just ripped the snorkel off. I thought. hey!! Cool!! Im planning to cut more chunks out of it to create even more airflow but lemmie know what you guys think about this ghetto assembly.
p.s.: or if you guys want to sell me an open element air cleaner assembly? any of you out there wanna sell me one? preferably a 14x2 so i dont hit the hood.
