Basically any year LT1 cam from 93-97 F-bodies, or any impala or caprices aroudn those same years with an LT1 or a corvette with an LT1 those same years about give or take a year. Just go for any of them.

Like Bron said, any year LT1 cam will work. You just need to trim the dowel pin a little. As far as which year LT1 cam to choose from, I have heard that '95s have the best specs to go with, but the subject has been mildly debated. So your best bet would be do a search and go with the year you think will work best. Not that the specs were all that different over the years...

The LT1 cams from the f-bodies were slightly bigger in 1994 and 1995. Any LT1 cam from 1992-1996 (vettes) and 1993-1997 (f-bodies) will yeild nice streetable results. The dowel pin will need to be shortened a little for any cam design to be used in a GEN II block. That is a piec of cake and takes about a minute to do. You may also want to look into the production LT4 cam which has larger specs than any of the LT1 cams. If you want even bigger you can go with the GMPP LT4 hotcam. That cam is better suited for a 350 though. The LT1 and LT4 cams are very streetable and have good durations and LSA'a that make them fairly easy to tune. Great for any 305 or mild 350.
