Roller Rocker Arms

Can I mount these on my LO3?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2445687893

I have the Proform 1.6 ratio - roller tipped rockers. However, one of them broke in 4 pieces.....what junk

Thanks

That is a really good price but I have never heard of Cat Racing products. The price may be that low for a reason. You get what you pay for with roller rockers. But they will work.

The question is will you have problems with the 1.65 rockers rubbing the pushrod slot.

He might, and also it's not a well-known brand. That doesn't mean they're chit, I just like to stick with reputable companies (although they fuc up too). But they should bolt on and work just fine if they don't rub the pushrod slot.

is it true that aluminium rockers have a short life span?

Some of them are notorious for pre mature wear in the fulcrum hich can leave little aluminum shavings in your oil and engine. That is not good. But yes I believe they should be changed every 25,000 miles if I am not mistaken.
