or you guys that bought the L05 from Scoggin Dickey(sp)

Anyone had the cyl heads off their L05?

Are the pistons flat tops? Got pics?

The dealership and Mitchell tell me those engines shared piston #10159436 with the LT1 and ZZ4.

Brent -- in re your offline question, I measured the LT1 piston last night. It took 5 cc to fillall 4 of the valve notches in the piston. So the 6 cc "factory" rating is certainly in the right ballpark. HTH.

That confirms my memory isn't failed completely. I did not take pictures but I recall the pistons had valve notches on both sides (total of four).
