feeding a TBI 350

I need some help with my jeep CJ build up. I know what you're thinking but please read on. No one has really been able to help me on the jeep sites so I figured I come and ask help here. I've got a '77 Jeep CJ5 that I am putting a '95 TBI 350 in (this is where you guys come in) and I am at the point of hooking up the gas lines but I am running into some questions. Can I use my original gas tank? Can I use my original sending unit? What kind of electronic in-line fuel pump should I get? There are so many out there I don't know what kind of pressures and flows I'm looking for, the manual and dealership are of no help on this subject either. Basically, what am I suppose to be looking for? I saw in some other threads people talking about regulators? Do I need one and if so where? Right after the pump or closer to the engine. Sorry for the stupid questions but this is my first car project and I'm biting off alot, especially with the FI, I know nothing about it. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Dan

I'm using a Holley Blue Pump. It comes preset at 14psi(you can get another spring to raise the psi to 18-20psi from Moroso) and the TBI unit runs at 9-13psi, so in my opinion its perfet. The regulator on the TBI unit is all you need. I've got the Holley reg(the reg comes with the blue pump) and Holley relay in my signature but I never installed them cause I ended up not needing them. You can make the factory regulator adjustable real easy and it will be the same as one that you buy for a TBI. Just look in the Tech Articles on this site. I wired my pump up with the factory hot wire that ran the in-tank pump, don't guess you can do that though. You will have to have a fuel return line, but I don't think your jeep has one if it does then your all good. If not and you want to use your tank and sending unit, I've seen a return line kit that went in the filler neck of your fuel tank. I'll look around and see if I can find out where I saw that filler neck return line kit.

thanks for your help. I do have a return line going back to the tank so thats not an issue. My only concern was the pump and the pressures. Thanks for the info, I'll check into that pump.
