holley projection dual TB manifold
holley projection dual TB manifold
not sure why but i was of opinion the above was a truck application not a TBI f body application. i car across a 1998 holley complete product catalog and it states good to 6000 rpm and suited for the projection TBI system. no specifics are listed on runner size. it is a dual plane. they only offer one specific tbi manifold. Question is how difficult to adapt my linkage from my crossfire set up to this set up? I expect i need to replace the linkage entirely. Does holley offer the linkage? would i use GM linage off F body? also on the cruise control how its that adapted? the kick down for overdrive i dont need as i do manually with switch (4 &3). the TPS i think is the similar just a diff connector. IAC no issue there.

your best bet, if you want to convert over to a standard tbi would be to go to a junk yard and get the throttle cable, the cruise control unit and the bracket out of the later model tbi car. Youll probably also want to get the hard fuel lines that hook up to the tbi from the doner car as well. I assume you have a TH200 so theres no need for the tv cable. As for the intake, from what i hear its ok. Itll definatly work better then the stock units that came with the f-bodies.

Have you been running without a kickdown cable so far? If not, I'd still keep it around. I'm not sure about the newer trannies, but most automatics control mainline pressure straight off the kickdown, or TV cable as it should be called. It's so when you honk on it, the trans increases holding pressure on the clutches and bands, to keep them from roasting out. Those trans are't that strong to begin with, esp. in OD, so I'd keep the cable just as insurance. Otherwise, that manifold should drop right on, I think.

i have a 4+3 manual vette. my cable is well worn at 100,000 miles and dont mind replacing it. in fact i think it is sticking currently or linkage binding somewhere since if i tickle it at stop it comes down on idle. hangs up somewhere. i would think holley would have a suggestion as their projection is used on many applications/hotrods. i would like to use my cruise control from current car. i would think cruise similar to F body same year and could be adapted. hopefully. the kick down on overdribve i never use. i have switch to handle that if need be. i assume it is a doable just need to order setup and improvise. my fuel dirtribution is currently poor in my opinion with my current set up(xram) so i keep the single plance and add the holley 670 or use their manifold as well. dont know which way on that? yet.
