17104288 ACR is from a 1995 2500 454 pickup 7.4 L. is this 80 or 85 lbs? i believe later years (after 1995) went to 90 lbs.

I don't have anything on that number. Are there any color codes (two paint dabs on the top center piece)?

thanks for responding. the color i would say is purple? i checked with gmparts direct and they show last 4 numbersd as 0860 for 1995 chev pkup with 7.4L. this is a new unit supposedly for 1995 C2500 pickup 7.4L. i believe it was never installed as as clean as new.

As for the purple I have these two:

(1987-'89) 454-truck purple 90# 17111784

94 454 TBI purple/red 67.85#/hr

Some of the 454's ran higher then 13 psi fuel pressures.

HTH's,

RBob.

thanks. it would appear the newer 454 at 68 lbs must have run higher pressure. interesting they do that. i have my 90's now at 9 lbs and was going to move to 11 lbs just to see the effect after i logged some wb02 in spring. i ran 12/1 at wot all the way to 6000rpms with 90 lbs at 9 lbs. so plenty fuel. now i have to decide if i should swap in my 90 lbs or leave at 68 and kick up FP a lot. which of those options sound better to you?

i think my 7.4 L TB is 1994 OR 1995. I bet it is 68 lbs. i note holley runs 65-68 at 20 lbs. do you see an advantage of quality of spray by incr FP? it would appear GM decided to go smaller inj for some reason ? the 454 trucks may not need 90lbs if it runs higher FP.
