I am buying an 89 TBI 5 speed tomorrow!!!
Hi guys I just came across an 89 TBI RS for $1500! It has 155,000 miles but it runs great. The guy had it parked for like almost a year and we just put in a new battery and it fired right up! The 5 speed really makes it feel sporty and the suspension is tight. It has T-tops and is white with a HARD CORE 80's brown fade stripe theme. It will be my daily driver so I will leave it stock but I will probably put a KN filter a chip and fix the rusted exhaust with the one I just took off my 90. The car idles smooth, runs good, is quiet and I can't wait to start driving it. A great car. Hopefully I can get some decent milage out of it. Does any one know what they do mileage wise stone stock?

anywhere between 12 and 30 mpg. Personally i get 16-20, depending on how 'nice' i am. some people have gotten as high as 30. There was a thread on milage a little while ago, it seems there are alot of factors involved in good milage, and it varies a ton what you actually get.
