Stock pump is fine for now. Check my mod's for an idea how much you can do with the stock pump.
Headers with a 3" y-pipe and a 3" cat if required. Another basic mod is to upgrade your air breather. Then heads, cam and intake.

i would go headers and open element. you can get an open element for 30 bucks or less, and it will open both ends up. and like the above post said you sh ould be fine with the stock fuel pump unless something is really wrong with it. and you will probably hear u should go with top of the line headers that are cermaic coated, while this isn't a bad idea it's not very cost effective. I would get the headman shorty's sold by ACS for around 250 i believe and you will have a great set that is coated. and still have cash left instead of being broke after buyin hooker LT's, which on the 305 wont net you much more gain IMO. but good luck and if you have questions read that stickey shifty posted and if the answers aren't there somebody will be able to give you a good idea.
