Finally Passed Smog!!!!!

I finally passed CA smog. Initially my car was register in an enhanced smog area and i could not get the NOx count down. I was passing HC and CO but the NOx were still about 300ppm too high and this was after a new cat and EGR valve. So finally i decided to register the car down where i go to college since it is a stardard testing area and I FINALLY PASSED.

HC measure max CO measure max
idle (865rpm) 42 120 0.00 1.00
2505rpm 13 140 0.00 1.00

Im thinking that with the new edelbrock intake that my car is running alittle lean so it is time to bump the fuel pressure i guess. Car was passed with every mod in my sig except that i used the stock aircleaner for visual testing and lowered the timing from 8* to 2* BTDC. Now it is time to de-smog the car, open element is already on and im gonna bump the timing once i finish the 87 octane that is in there.

you have two years of running high-smog until you have to be checked again- I suggest a 350 with high lift cam and a carb!
