Code 23 TPS
Code 23 TPS
So, the other day I was lubricating my throttle cable with some graphite. I unhooked it from the throttle lever, squirted some powdered graphite in it, and pulled it back and forth. I think I screwed up the throttle position sensor when I did this. I got a Code 23. I was wondering if you guys think that this is probably what is wrong. If so, do I need to get a meter and follow the instructions in the tech guide or should I replace the whole unit? Also, would replacing the unit eliminate the need to recalibrate it? I really don't feel like dealing with that. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm supposed to take my girlfriend to the beach this weekend, and I don't want to disappoint.
Thanks,
Will

Well code 23= MANIFOLD AIR TEMP. SENSOR CIRCUIT (Low Temp Indicated)
I don't think that has anything to do with the Throttle Position Sensor. You didn't by any chance forget to hook the Manifold Air Temp sensor back up when you put the air cleaner back on did you?
