LT1 engine?

Weird question... I have a 95 LT1, the engine is about ready to go into my 91 RS. I still need to get a fuel pump, adapters for the lines, splice in the new harness and a load of other crap. They make carb intakes for the LT1's, and I see some impressive numbers when people use these intakes with carbs on them. So my question is could I throw a bigger TB with a carb adapter plate on that intake? From where I'm coming from I think it would be no problem. I probably won't do it, but it's a thought. Aside from prom tuning, does anyone see any problems with trying to pull something like this?

Thanks, Matt

If you have a full LT1 engine, keep the LT1 fuel injection or even buy an intake if you don't have it. They're fairly cheap and it is a great intake to use. I wouldn't swap a carb manifold on one, just my $.02

Yep, big Zeppelin fan here. But yeah that LT1 intake is really good, I've considered swapping to one myself, doing the conversion. Maybe sometime down the road.

Keep the LT1 intake. Getting rid of it defeats all of the advantages that MPFI brings to the table. There aren't any aftermarket replacments for the LT1 intake it is so good. Check out the engine swap forum for more info. That is unless you wanted a TBI topped LT1?
