i dont need to be leagil, so i have already takeing off some things
what do i need in terms of keep it runnig right...
can i take off the EGR... with out missing up the computer and haveing it run ****ty... or will i run the risk of detonation....
any help, cuz im takeing it all off as we speak.... dont need to find out i needed something i tossed out

The EGR is actually a good thing. It helps emmisons at part throttle and keeps combustion temps down as well as fuel mileage up. It shuts off at WOT so there is not really a need to get rid of it. You need to program it out if the chip or you will throw a code.
I got rid of mine with a billet aluminum block off plate from custom billet works. I'm not a huge fan of carbon build up on the inside of my intake and ports. Also removed a lot of crap from under the hood. I say remove it, but you must also delete it from the chip or it could cause detonation problems. Also, if you have a good flowing exhaust, the lack of backpressure can cause problems with the egr valve which I didn't like either.
