Fuel Smell
Hey All..
Well I finally got my car running right...sorta. I replaced the EGR Valve and selonoid. Took the car out for a test and YAY!! no EGR or SES codes coming up. Now I rebooted the ECM and took the car for a good run from here to huntsville which is about 180 Kilometers away and back. I noticed that when I came back that there is still a strong smell of gas in my exhaust which means my car is still running rich.
What else should I do/change to have the car lean out so its not running rich. Could this be because I added mods without chip burning?
Any advice would be greatly apreciated.
thanks

What mods do you have besides the ones in your sig? usualy these cars will run a bit rich when you have the stock tune and every bolt on. My car ran rich with my intake and full exhaust. Do you have a cat? Have you backed off the fuel pressure a bit.

I have a full magnaflow exhaust. Magnaflow cat and muffler and a 2.5" pipe going from headers back. I forgot to mention that I replaced the O2 as well.
I am not sure how to back off the fuel preasure.
