what would come next?
after everything from K&N open air element, edelbrock performer intake manifold, world torquer heads, camshaft with 1.6rockers, and camshaft with these specs:
Lift: .487''/.495''
Duration: 264°/270°
and of coarse 1 5/8" headers, 3" Y-pipe and 3"cutout valve.
what comes next? a larger TB? or maybe just bigger injectors?

Chip burning. Then when you get it dialed in look into a larger TBI unit and then prom tune again. You will need suspension to.

i agree from what i have seen there is no way that thing is running anywhere near where it should with the stock tune. you might also consider the 454 TB and injectors or the holley unit... but definetly tuning. also what gears do you i have? tuning first but i would consider gears after that.

i just thought of something, but its a valid mod, have you thought of going with a Pro 5.0 shifter or something similar? i know a few people with one and all of them like it. and good luck with the tuning with TBIchips if i were you i would get the heads and cam first and then get the chip tuned, it will be "easier" that way imho
