Starting Data LogginG

So I am finally going to give it a shot probably tonight/tomorrow evening....Some of you might remebmer that I swapped the heads to Port & Polished 416s a few weeks ago. Got the car running fairly well (atleast in my opinion) so now its time to turn to some data logging.

Question for you guys is what is the best place to start with things.

I guess the 1st step would be to start at idle and get a sense as to how far off the BLM's are from 128.....record it and then do the same driving under "regular" conditions....anything else I should first look at/try to analyze with my first crack at data logging???

Thanks,
Dave

verify BPW as accurate. this is a math calc that you place in constants. maybe you know that.
i guess at idle.... then off idle, populating the cells... this is in neutral. then i went for a ride on level plane if possible. that allowed me to close in on the magic 128, or closer anyway. to get the hard to reach 2800-3200-3600. i disabled PE. not recommended. then i drove on level xway in third(of 5) gear to attempt to get some data up there. AE was done last and it needed a lot more pumpshot. that is more difficult to dial in.

variables are engine size, fuel pressure setting, and size of injector. plug these into the formula posted somewhere on this site and you get the setting. in constants you provide this number(like 135 or so) and that tells the ecu what you have like in above. i have 350 cid, 80 lbs injectors( untill recently i thought i bought 90) and 11.5 lbs FP.
