Sensor Locations
Ok I admit it! I screwed up! I didn't lable and remember where all of the sensors came from! I have the B.S. hayes manual and they might tell me but I want to make sure and hope anyone has helpful info on reinstalling them!
I am hoping to have my motor back in the car soon as I have picked up my transmission. Just cant wait till the motor is in the car, but it seems like I have no time! I get up go to work get off of work and go to the part time job, then after that I am tired and it is dark!
Well the last big purchase I have to make is a radiator! I wish I could find one for a steal! I want one of the aluminum and plastic ones!

how far apart is it?
knock sensor -- front pass head.
fan swithc -- rear pass head
temp sender -- drivers head
oil pressure sender, rear of block.
temp sensor -- front/top of manifold
those are probably the list you need.

Well the motor is back togther! thank goodness! it took me almost a year to get this far! My motor is at my job (the U.S. Navy SUBBASE) i just have to get it off base and back to my house! so i can put it back in the car! i am waiting for a friend to bring the hoist to my house and drop it off then i will bring the motor home!

i really dont know what pics i need just yet because i dont have the sensors yet ,but i would like a high quality pic of the engine with the air cleaner off!
The Motor still needs the water pump put on it, the dip stick, distributor put in, crank pulley, and acc brackets on each side.
OH how about the manifold where the studs are, so i can change the bolts to studs it i need to, i have some "spare" stainless steel bolts at work so i replaced the bolts! i am gonna do the same on the exhaust manifolds!

Aluminum radiator
I bought from this guy- exact same as stock. I cannot speak for what he is selling now, but the one I got from him was brand new GM (in the box).
The difference in cooling compared to my old radiator was tremendous.

ok Shifty do you have a picture of each sensor? i have a hand full of sensors but not sure which ones are which!

Well i put some of them in, but i am gonna remember to take my camera to work with me tomorrow and take some pics of the motor and sensors i have in!

Does anyone have a pic of the fan switch, I think I broke mine while taking out the engine. Also does anyone have a picture of the Knock sensor and Fan switch wiring harnes, I am not sure which one goes to witch. One is black and one is white.

i was wondering about the sensor on top of the manifold passenger side back it has 2 1/4 " hard plastic vacum lines comin into it with a 2 wire connector! where do the two vacum lines go to ?
