Good cam for 383 with 4bbl TBI C950?
I'm not sure if aftermarket TBI's are welcomed here but I got zero help in the DFI board, I'm new to the EFI game and need help on a cam, I've been getting conflicting advice everywhere I go, then I found this place and it looks like a great site to get good info. Anyway, I just bought someones project Camaro, he ran out of funds after loosing his job so I got a real good deal on the whole setup, he had most every part except a cam so I would like a little help picking one that will work good with this combination of parts, the car is a 92 CamaroRS and it already has a killer drivetrain in it, 12-bolt with 3.42, Eaton posi, 5-speed TKO trans. The engine is a .030 over ZZ4 block with a 3.75" Callies Dragonslayer crank,6' H beam rods, KB forged 18.5 cc reverse dome pistons and the heads are Edelbrock 170cc E-tecs, Holley 950-22S 700 cfm TBI and the intake is a Edelbrock Air-Gap RPM Vortec. I think this comes out to about 9.5 to 1 compression, any suggestions on a good roller cam either hyd. or solid that will work good with TBI and pull to 6000RPM, thanks for any help.

Car: yy wife, crazy.
Engine: 350, Vortecs, 650DP
Transmission: TH-350
Axle/Gears: 8.5", 3.42
Pretty much any cam you want, within reason.
I'd suggest a Crane cam. This one to be exact.
That cam will take full advantage of that TBI setup and still work very well with the 3.42 gear.
